How do I use Mobile411™?

Mobile411™ is a very easy to use VOICE-ENABLED search application. Just open the Mobile411™ application on your mobile phone, PRESS and HOLD the “talk” key and say the “City and State” you need. Next, select either "Search by Business Name", "Business Type" or “Person”. PRESS and HOLD the “talk” key and say either the business listing you are looking for (“Joe’s Pizza”), a business category (“Pizza”) or a Person (“John Smith”). Within a few seconds, the phone number, address, map, directions, what’s nearby and other great features will be displayed on you phone. You also have the option to make a search by typing in your request if you are in a very loud or quiet environment.

What if it does not recognize me?

For optimal results, you need to speak normally. It will work best if you speak clearly at a regular pace. Do not try to slow down. Mobile411™ isolates your voice and should not pick up background noises. If you are in a really loud environment, you may need to type your entry or bring your cellphone closer to your mouth.

Where the data comes from?

Mobile411™ uses the same carrier-grade data that you get from a 411 operator provided by your carrier. Listings are very accurate and updated regularly, so you can obtain the latest information available.

How does Mobile411™ work?

Mobile411™ records your VOICE input, compresses it into a data file and sends it to our servers for processing. The recording will be converted into text and the results are sent back and displayed on your screen within seconds.
