Marco Thompson

He founded Doctor Design in 1984 and grew the company to become the largest Engineering Design Services firm in Southern California. Marco sold the company to Wind River in 1995. Wind River Services is now 250 people (200 engineers) in seven cities, and over $50,000,000 in revenues. WRS develops Hardware and Software for "smart connected devices". After 15 years as CEO, in 1999, Marco assumed the CTO role at WRS. He is active in business development, architecture and design strategies, and project quality control.
