TECHNOLOGY

V-ENABLE's technology is designed to improve the user interface for wireless data applications. Everyone knows the limitations of the cell phone: the keypad is a poor input mechanism for typing and the screen is small making it difficult to browse and search for content or information. Although the carriers are reporting growth among wireless data subscribers, actual adoption of data applications has been very slow due to the difficulty of using applications and getting information. According to a new survey sponsored by Wacom Components, "76% of consumers claim mobile data is too hard to access. Most consumers claim they are not able to figure out how to use mobile data services on their handsets." (FierceWireless, 11/17/04). In their monthly wireless newsletter, wireless analyst firm Rutberg and Co. suggests that the solution to this problem derives from companies that provide speech recognition and multimode platforms that "combine network and device software to allow content and service providers to present and customize applications to users." V-ENABLE's technology is based on developing new user interfaces for inputting and receiving wireless data content to provide a faster, easier, and more interactive experience for the mobile user. Our technology allows mobile user to use
voice and motion as new methods of inputting and receiving content and information. |
